LEGUÍZAMO TOWN TOUR

This guided tour offers an introduction to the history and cultural relationship between the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon and the contemporary settler and farming communities of Puerto Leguízamo. Along the way, you'll visit some of the town's most iconic landmarks, including the Central Market, Los Héroes Park, the Cathedral and San José Church, José María Hernández and Cándido Leguízamo schools, the town's river ports, Caucayá Airport, the municipal cemetery, the Leguízamo–La Tagua road, María Angelines Hospital, and the traditional Malocas of the Múrui Muina people, among many other places that reflect the daily life and identity of the local community.
